Amongst these 2470ha (6100 acres) of the Upper Wharfe valley north of Kettlewell, the Trust owns nine farms and the hamlets of Yockenthwaite and Cray. The landscape incorporates dry-stone walls and barns, important flower-rich hay meadows, valleyside woodland and blanket bog.
