BLAKENEY POINT, NORFOLK
The Point is a 3½-ml long sand and shingle spit, noted in particular for its colonies of breeding terns and for the rare migrants that pass through in spring and autumn. Both common and grey seals can be seen, as well as an interesting range of seaside plants. An information centre at Morston Quay provides further details on the area’s attractions.
