THE GODOLPHIN ESTATE, CORNWALL

The Trust acquired this ancient estate of 222ha (555 acres) in 2000; improvements to public access continue to be made. From Godolphin Hill there are wonderful views over west Cornwall. More than 400 recorded archaeological features range from Bronze Age enclosures to dramatic 19th-century mine buildings.
