BROWNSEA ISLAND, DORSET

The island was privately owned until acquired by the Trust in 1962, and is now a haven for red squirrels and a rich variety of seabirds. Part of the island is leased as a nature reserve to the Dorset Wildlife Trust. There are many fine walks and spectacular views of Poole Harbour. What’s new in 2004: Mobility trailer
