This majestic building is one of the oldest surviving timber-framed barns in Europe and was originally part of a Cistercian monastery. It was restored in the 1980s by The Coggeshall Grange Barn Trust, Braintree DC and Essex CC, and contains a small collection of farm carts and wagons.
