Ilam Park runs along both banks of the River Manifold, with spectacular views towards Dovedale. What remains of Ilam Hall is a youth hostel and NT visitor centre, tea-room and shop. A small garden has been created on the site of the old Italian Garden situated below the stableblock. What’s new in 2004: When not in use by pre-booked groups, the Learning and Discovery Centre will be open for visitors to browse for information about the flora, fauna, geology & archaeology of the estate
