Travel back in time and be a Knight for the day in this action packed medieval thrills experience. With expert horsemen and actors at your side you will be taught the skills used by Knights including how to use a shield and lance, horse control, how to strike targets, mounted period games and foot fights with swords and quarterstaffs. The event concludes with the chance to dress in medieval costume and show off your skills in a mini medieval tournament.

LOCATION: Warwick (Midlands)

AGENDA: On arrival you will have your riding skills assessed by an instructor before learning the story of jousting and the purpose of the equipment. You will enjoy a variety of combat training both on and off horse such as shield work and reigning in the horse. After a break for lunch (not included) you will learn the moves for a choreographed battle sequence before dressing in medieval costume for a mini medieval tournament.

NOTES: On purchasing this experience you will be sent a voucher valid for ten months. You need to be reasonably fit in order to get the most from this experience. Maximum weight is 20 stone. Minimum age is 16. Non riders are welcome although some riding experience is an advantage. The experience starts at 10am and finishes at 4.30pm. The experience runs on weekend and weekday dates from April to October. Spectators are welcome at no extra cost, but dogs are not allowed. Lunch is not included but there are hostelries nearby.
