This experience is based in the heart of Scottish Countryside hosted by a team of falcon experts who have years of experience with birds of prey. This course gives you the opportunity to share in the knowledge of the experienced falconers, and also to interact with magnificent birds of prey. You will be given a bird for the day and learn how to fly and handle it like a true professional. Enjoy a day out in the Scottish hills and witness the brilliance of these fantastic birds.

LOCATION: Perth, Perthshire (Scotland)

AGENDA: Your experience starts with an informative tour of the centre where you will meet the trainers and see the birds of prey close up. Then you will learn all about their different characteristics, speed capabilities and hunting habits. You will have lunch with your group and the trainers in a local inn, here you have the chance to ask any questions and share in the vast knowledge of the staff at the centre. This full day experience offers you the opportunity to fly a bird to the fist and ample time to take photographs of this truly unforgettable experience. As a guide your experience will last for 6 to 7 hours.

NOTES: You have been issued with a voucher valid for 10 months. All equipment will be provided for your experience, but it is advisable to bring a pair of wellington boots with you and wear suitable outdoor clothing for the time of year. Please note that the species of bird flown will be dependent on the time of year. There will be a maximum of 6 people in your group on the day. Raptor World will provide you with lunch on the day.
