After a 'Cowboy's Breakfast' at the ranch to start the day, you will be settled on your trusty steed before heading out on a long, picturesque trail. The trail will take you riding amongst the wild forest ponies and cattle as well as through the ancient woodlands and streams where you may catch a glimpse of deer. Camp is set up for a Forest BBQ Lunch amongst the redwoods and a welcome break for horse and rider alike. Then we mount up and head back on home for plenty of hot coffee, doughnuts and tall tails of your day riding the range.

LOCATION: Hampshire (South East)

AGENDA: Enjoy a warm welcome, a cup of coffee and bacon and eggs with your trail leader who will brief you on safety before helping you mount your trusty steed. After a short lesson to settle you on your mount y'all head off into the wild blue yonder. The trail takes us out to a sizzling forest BBQ lunch amongst the Redwoods before it's time to saddle up and ride back across the plains to the ranch where there's plenty of hot coffee, doughnuts and tales to tell of your Dude Day Trail in the New Forest . You will spend around five hours in the saddle in total. There are up to 12 riders in a group and the trail will be at a slow walk and jog pace, leaving you time to take in the picturesque scenery of the New Forest.

NOTES: Please contact the centre directly to arrange your day which is available on selected dates between April and October. No previous riding experience is necessary and as there are beginners with the trails all riders are restricted to slow paces. Vegetarians can be catered for but should specify when booking. These rides are not suitable for pregnant women and a medical certificate may be required in the case of disability. Clients MUST wear long trousers and shoes or boots with a small heel. Flat soled shoes/trainers are not suitable. Shoulders must be covered. Minimum age 12 years, min height 5 ft, max weight 15 stone. Cameras cannot be taken on rides. Other restrictions apply.
