New for 2007 - get up close to the cheeky lemurs in the Zoo's first immersive experience. Enter Lemur Island and see the lemurs frolicking in a barrier-free environment - these energetic primates will run circles around you! Then hop aboard the Safari Bus or the Jumbo Express or stroll across acres of lush countryside and watch lions, tigers, elephants, hippos and giraffes out and about in huge outdoor enclosures.

LOCATION: Bedfordshire (South East)

AGENDA: On arrival you are free to explore the park for as long as you want and enjoy the many different habitats and animals on display. There are free daily activities such as feedings, falconry displays and the unique chance to get up close and personal with some of the park's residents.

NOTES: On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a Child entry voucher valid for ten months. Simply present the voucher at the entry gate to gain admission. The Zoo is open every day except Christmas Day from 10am. Every penny you spend at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo goes towards both the care of the animals and The Zoological Society of London's many global conservation projects. You can use your voucher to attend Zoo Night at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo on Friday 29 June. On Zoo Night the zoo is open from 6:30pm-10pm when you can take a summer evening stroll after hours and learn more about the animals with keeper talks and feeds. Please note that your voucher will cover Zoo Night admission only; you will need to purchase a separate ticket if you wish to visit the zoo during the day as well.
